Two Tons of Counterfeit Ethyl Alcohol, found in the Car of a Moldovan

More than two tons of counterfeit ethyl alcohol were detected by policemen after some searches. The goods were found in a car near the village of Draganesti, Singerei district.

The car was driven by a man of 45 years. He had no documents that could prove the origin of the alcohol.

According to policemen, the suspect planned to sell it in the Capital.

The damage that could be caused to the state for failure to pay excise duty is over 200 thousand lei.

The ethyl alcohol was confiscated and the suspect faces a fine of up to 30 thousand lei.
